The updated Porsche 911 GT3 is presented
Porsche has expanded the current 911 family with an updated version of the GT3. The car has been redesigned with a modified design and suspension, and the 4.0-liter engine has been left in conjunction with the “mechanics”
Externally, the new GT3 can be recognized by its different bumpers and modified aerodynamic elements. The optics are now the same as those of the current 911 family. It is noted that the engineers have improved the suspension, adding new lower arms to the “double wishbone” in front. In addition, the shock absorbers were modified, the downforce was increased and the steering was reconfigured.
The car is powered by the same 4.0-liter engine. However, to please modern “green” standards, the engine was equipped with a new intake system, improved camshafts and oil coolers. At the same time, the power remained at the same level – 510 hp. Torque – 450 Nm. A 6-speed “mechanics” or a 7-speed “robot” can still work in tandem with the engine.
The dynamics have also not changed. The declared acceleration to “hundreds” is 3.4 sec. with “robot” and 3.9 sec. with “mechanics”. The maximum speed is limited to 311 and 313 km/h, respectively, by the gearbox.
