Porsche showed the silhouette of the new Cayenne
Porsche has published the silhouette of the third generation of the Cayenne SUV. It is difficult to understand the details from the teaser, but one thing is clear: the car will undergo evolutionary changes and, at least, the silhouette of the Cayenne will be one hundred percent recognizable.
Porsche also named the date of the premiere of the third generation of the SUV: the new Cayenne will be presented online on August 29 of this year. The public presentation of the SUV will take place in early September at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The new generation Cayenne is built on the MLB Evo platform, which gave life to the current Audi Q7 and Bentley Bentayga. This means that the SUV will be significantly lighter, which will lead to increased efficiency.
Porsche took the evolutionary path in updating the exterior of the SUV: the Cayenne is the company's best-selling model and radical changes could scare off potential buyers, especially owners of current-generation cars.
But the interior of the SUV will be completely transformed. It will feature a virtual instrument panel based on a widescreen, the arrangement of buttons on the front panel and central tunnel will completely change, and a new infotainment system will appear.
