Ford has ended production of the Mustang sports car

Just the other day, the last coupe in a white Oxford White Premium body, equipped with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder engine, rolled off the assembly line at the Flat Rock, Michigan plant.

The sixth Mustang debuted in December 2013 and went into production in August 2014. In this generation, the famous American pony car became global for the first time, entering markets outside of North America. It was even going to be officially delivered to Russia, but this plan was never realized, since the brand curtailed sales of passenger cars in our country.

As for the new generation of the “Mustang”, it was shown back in September last year. The set of power units consists of a “turbo four” EcoBoost with a volume of 2.3 liters and a five-liter V8. Similar engines were used in the previous generation Mustang, but the manufacturer claims that the V8 was seriously modernized, and calls the younger engine “absolutely new”. No technical specifications have been declassified yet
