Ford Everest gets off-road version Tremor
Ford has introduced an off-road modification of the Ford Everest called Tremor for the Australian market. It is also in the arsenal of the platform-sharing Ranger pickup, but the SUV is equipped with a more powerful V6 diesel engine
You can recognize the Ford Everest Tremor by a different bumper and radiator grille, consisting of large slots. For this version, 17-inch wheels with all-terrain tires General Grabber AT3 were also prepared. For an additional fee, the car can be equipped with steel bumpers, a bullbar, a winch, underbody protection and many other things necessary for survival on Australian roads. In addition, engineers have modified the suspension, changing the springs and shock absorbers. This allowed to increase the ground clearance by 26 mm.
Under the hood is a 3.0-liter ”turbodiesel” V6 with a capacity of 250 hp and 600 Nm of torque. A 10-speed automatic transmission works in tandem with the engine. The drive is full.
