Ford Mustang turned into an electric car
Ford, together with the automotive components manufacturer Webasto, created a fully electric coupe Mustang Lithium
The car is equipped with an electric motor with a capacity of more than 900 horsepower and 1355 Nm of torque. Moreover, what is characteristic, traction is transmitted only to the rear axle. In addition, the electric “Mustang” is equipped, attention, with a manual transmission, which is extremely atypical for electric cars. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not disclose the dynamic characteristics.
As for the exterior, the sports car is distinguished by a lowered suspension and 20-inch Forgeline wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The Mustang also received carbon fiber body panels and a new body kit. Unfortunately, Ford does not plan to launch the Mustang Lithium into production. The company created a prototype to demonstrate the capabilities of working with electric vehicles and testing various technologies that will appear in production models.
