Porsche 928 converted into a beach buggy
Porsche has shared images of a unique project based on the 928 model. This is a beach buggy called 928 Surfary, which is designed to transport surfers to surf spots
The inspiration for this project was Tadeusz Elwart, known as the founder of the Hel Riders festival dedicated to cool cars, skateboarding and surfing. The 928 Surfary features not only a rally-style design by the Lange & Lange team, but also a refined technical component by engineer and racing driver Tomasz Staniszewski.
The car is painted light beige, complemented by orange stripes of different tones. Overall, the car's appearance refers to the 1986 Porsche 944 “Rothmans-Dakar”. The 928 Surfary has increased ground clearance, is equipped with off-road tires, and has additional lighting and a roof platform for transporting surfboards.
