The appearance of the new Porsche Cayenne has been revealed
Official photos (albeit in low quality) of the third generation Porsche Cayenne, which will be presented tomorrow, have appeared online. As we assumed based on spy photos and insider information, the changes in the car's exterior are purely evolutionary.
The most noticeable changes are at the front, this is the bumper with three horizontal slats, which are torn apart by a radar camera in the center. The daytime LED running lights have become noticeably narrower and are located in higher side air intakes. The hood is also new here, but the shape of the headlights has hardly changed. But inside they have new LED units. The profile is absolutely recognizable. But in the back everything is new and the new lights, made in the spirit of the Panamera, are to blame: thin with LED strips and a luminous plate stretching from lamp to lamp.
But the interior has been completely transformed: there is not a single detail familiar from the current generation. On the dashboard, only the tachometer with a digital speedometer has been preserved as an analog one, it is bordered by two screens that can display various information. Almost all the buttons are touch-sensitive. There is not a single familiar button on the widescreen infotainment system.
The new Porsche Cayenne is built on the same platform as the Audi Q7, but it is expected to borrow engines from the new Panamera. At the start of sales, the new generation will receive a 3-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 330 hp. and a 2.9-liter twin-turbo engine with 440 hp. The top-of-the-line version should be the S E-Hybrid with 600 hp.
