Porsche has introduced the 911 Carrera T with a manual transmission and a lightweight body. The car will be produced in two body types: coupe and convertible. Orders for the new product are already open

Under the hood is a standard 3.0-liter 6-cylinder boxer engine with a capacity of 394 hp and 450 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The claimed acceleration to “hundreds” is 4.5 s. The maximum speed is 295 km/h. The convertible accelerates to 100 km/h slightly slower in 4.7 s and reaches a maximum speed of 293 km/h.

The body was made lighter by eliminating abundant sound insulation, the rear sofa and installing lighter glass. As a result, the 911 Carrera T is 40 kg lighter than the standard version. In addition, the car received a traction vector control system, a different suspension and a ground clearance lowered by 10 mm.
